Precision Point Nonabsorbable Nylon Surgical Monofilament Suture, Green, 4/0, 18", PS-2 Needle, is a high-performance surgical suture intended for use in soft tissue approximation and ligation. Manufactured from a long-chain aliphatic polymer, the nylon monofilament structure offers excellent tensile strength and smooth passage through tissue. 

The suture is colored green to enhance intraoperative visibility, aiding in precise placement and reducing the risk of suture misidentification. The monofilament design minimizes tissue drag and trauma while facilitating easier removal post-procedure. Minimal capillarity reduces the risk of fluid and bacterial migration along the suture line.

This suture generates minimal acute inflammatory reaction and is gradually encapsulated by fibrous connective tissue over one to two years. It maintains long-term stability without significant degradation, making it suitable for both superficial and deeper surgical closures.
